The Staten Island Ryan White Part B
HIV Care Network is made up of several committees that meet ten times a year. They are:

The Executive Committee is the governing body overseeing the working of the Network. It functions like a board of directors and is responsible for guiding the Network in meeting its goals and objectives. There are consumer and provider members that are elected.

The Consumer Involvement Committee meets to promote consumer involvement in the region, provide a venue for consumers to share the realities of living with HIV/AIDS, identify gaps in services and participate in the development of policies and other strategies to address their needs.

The Care Coordination Committee reviews regional issues of service delivery, assesses needs, identify emerging issues and provide opportunities for providers and consumers to facilitate seamless entry into service systems.

The Policy Advisory/Education Committee deals with informing legislative, government and community leaders at the local and state levels of regional needs and emerging issues related to HIV/AIDS, promote a coordinated response to these issues, and educate the community about services and treatment for HIV.
