Community Recreational Programs

Living Room – Home cooked meals for the community are served twice a month in a safe and supportive environment.  Educational programming for adults and children’s activities are staples of the program.  The program is open to all Staten Islanders.   

The Living Room is from 5:30pm to 8:30pm and is held at Christ Episcopal Church, 76 Franklin Avenue. 

Directions: from SI Ferry Terminal take the S40 or S44 bus.  Church is on the right, 2 short blocks up from the bus stop at Richmond Terrace & Franklin Ave.

Seasonal Baskets & Holiday Party – Each Fall & Spring we coordinate volunteers, food donations, and seasonal items to feed families in our community programs. Food baskets are delivered to the homes by volunteers. Supplies are limited and based upon referral. Annually in December there is a Holiday Party for consumers and their families. 

Volunteer – Volunteer opportunities are available at our Community Food Pantry, Living Room, and other programs.
