Nutrition Programs:

Community Food Pantry – Emergency food assistance is provided to all individuals and families. We provide healthy and nutritious foods. Bring picture identification and identification for all household members to ensure you receive enough for all! No referral required, eligible to pick up food once a month. No delivery service available.

 Other support services available at the Community Food Pantry:

Benefits Specialist – Screening, application, and online enrollment with Food Stamps offered. Screening and eligibility for additional public health benefits offered. Call for appointment 718.808.1814 or come during pantry hours for appointment.

HRA Online Food Stamps Enrollment – The Benefits Specialist will refer you to onsite food stamp enrollment with the Human Resource Administration.  Easier to access services and avoid waiting on line at local office.

HIV Counseling, Testing, & Referral – Free and confidential HIV counseling and testing services are offered on Saturdays at our community food pantry. We use a rapid test so that the HIV test and counseling session are completed within 45 minutes.
 

Volunteer – Volunteer opportunities are available at our Community Food Pantry and other programs.

Other Nutritional Programs:

Living Room – Home cooked meals for the community are served twice a month. Educational programming for adults and children’s activities are a staple of the program.  See Community Recreational Programs

In-House Food Pantry –Individuals and families enrolled in one of the direct care programs, such as Case Management or Addiction & Recovery, can be referred for emergency food pantry. No delivery service available. For more information call 718.808.1829

Fresh Produce Pantry – Fresh produce is available at our Food Pantry for HIV+ individuals referred by their case manager, counselor, or self. No delivery service available.  For more information call 718.808.1830
